Team Captain Landon Donovan scored the game's only goal, which occurred in the 72nd minute on passes from Robbie Keane and David Beckham. Herbalife-sponsored Omar Gonzalez played solid defense, breaking up the Dynamo's attacks and helping to neutralize their offense overall.
